To start this blog off I feel like I should tell a little something about myself. In my life I have always been interested in stories, novels, and fictional representations of real life emotions and experiences. What I particularly enjoy about exceptional novels is character development. I like an interesting character!

So, that is all very nice, but this blog is about home design. My guess, is that youโ€™re wondering how modeling a beautiful home ties into my love of books. I have recently been inspired by a very strong character, Sherlock Holmes, as you may have guessed by my blog title. Holmes was known for his smarts, competence in making clever observations, and an uncanny ability to solve difficult cases. Well, I have a case, and that is to discover quality designs. I want to find all sorts of good things, from a simple lamp to the right architecture for a flawless home. If this sounds at all interesting to you, join me in my journey through the broad world of home design. With Holmes as my inspiration, I intend to use my smarts to make clever observations and succeed in my quest to make great finds for an exquisite home!
